ABOUT
Hey! I am a braider originaly from Seattle, WA, but recently moved (Feb 2026) and now based in New York City. I started braiding hair as a hobby in college and made it my full time job after graduation. I love sharing my story and creativity online and through hair. I love connecting and hoping to inspire others to follow or find their spark like I did mine, through hair, conversation, and business!

I can only service you if your hair is clean, washed, product free, detangled, and your best blow dry.
Failure to follow preparation instructions may result in an additional prep fee ($20 for detangling) or refusal of service.

It should never be extremely painful. There may be discomfort from the “pulling” sensation, but overall, this really depends on you and the style we choose! Some style such as twists may hurt less than cornrows
-
Wrapping your hair is mandatory! This is important for when you sleep, shower, work out...etc. I sell durags in my shop! Use mousse to lay down frizz when necessary
You can wash (try waiting a week so the braids can stay fresh for as long as possible)
Washing
Gently cleanse scalp with diluted shampoo and then gently massage with your fingertips (Some use a stock cap for extra protection while washing)
Products
Use 2-3x a week when and if your scalp is dry & itchy. Apply oil and run a finger on the part lines
Try black caster, Moroccan, rosemary, tea tree, jojoba, or argon oil
